Synopsis of "Ask Laftan Anlamaz"
The story of Hayat Uzun, hailing from a Giresun village and the daughter of a fisherman, faces the dilemma of finding work in Istanbul. If she fails to secure employment, she risks returning to her rural family, where her strict conservative father intends to arrange her marriage. Hayat shares her living space with her close friends Ipek and Asli, occasionally visited by her mother, Emine. A case of mistaken identity leads to her landing a job at the multinational textile company Sarte. She becomes a personal assistant to the assistant of Murat Sarsılmaz, the head of Sarte. Notably, the position was initially intended for Suna Pektas, a family friend of Sarsilmaz.
